SALUTATIONS 

A crochet mandala

About: 
‘‘Salutations" (noun) a gesture or utterance made as a greeting or acknowledgement of another’s arrival or departure.

I designed this mandala as a way to say ‘hello’ to all of you and to bring a warm greeting to those who see it. I hope it brings a little happiness and light into your lives.

Pattern: 
This pattern is written in both UK and US terms and consists of step-by-step photographs to help you along the way.

Skill level: 
It is aimed at an Intermediate to Advanced crocheter due to the stitches used

Yarn: 
Cotton was used to make these beautiful wall hangings - but you could make it from any yarn (great stash buster)

Other Materials: 
4mm hook (or corresponding hook to go with your choice of yarn) 
Scissors 
Yarn needle 
Blocking equipment if desired
Ring to fit your finished piece - make sure it's a couple of inches larger than your finished piece

FINISHED SIZE:

(Purple/blue/green version) - 37.5cm/14.76inches unblocked

Gauge 
Not important - depends on your tension and yarn, find what works for you comfortably and then find the ring to fit if it’s bigger or smaller :)

Optional: 
This pattern was originally designed as a wall hanging but would look lovely as a centrepiece.
