FLORAL DREAMS
About:
Explore and learn the wonderful world of crochet through a variety of stitches and techniques. This blanket is made up of three shapes; octagons, squares and triangles. The finished blanket measures approximately 130cm / 51 inches.
JOINING:
There are many methods to join motifs. If you have a particular method that you love, then please use that. However, this design uses the single-crochet-join-as-you-go (aka Pull Loop Through) method means you can make it any size you like, just make more or less of the shapes, it’s that simple
Pattern:
This pattern is written in both UK and US terms and consists of step-by-step photographs, colouring page and charts to help you along the way.
Skill level:
It is aimed at an Advanced beginner to Intermediate crocheter
Yarn:
Stylecraft Special DK or
Stylecraft Batik
Other Materials:
4.5mm hook (or corresponding hook to go with your choice of yarn)
Scissors
Yarn needle
Stitch Markers
Blocking equipment if desired
Gauge
Not important - depends on your tension and yarn, find what works for you comfortably and then find the ring to fit if it’s bigger or smaller :) Just make sure you are consistent throughout.
