Introducing Awakening – A Blanket Pattern Woven(Crocheted 😉) with Light and Meaning

There are some patterns that are more than just stitches — they hold our stories, our healing, and our hope. Awakening is one of those patterns for me.

This blanket design bloomed during a season of quiet reflection. I wanted to create something that gently holds space for growth — the kind that happens slowly, quietly, almost imperceptibly, until suddenly, one day, you feel it: I’m beginning again.

🧶 About the Pattern
Awakening is a textured, meditative blanket pattern built with beginner-friendly stitches, working through to more advanced stitches, and calming repetition. The design plays with subtle contrast and shifting light — like the first glow of morning. It’s a project made for moments of pause, peace, and personal renewal.

It comes in two colourways: (colour info below)
Dawn of Awakening – warm, neutral tones with soft golden light.
🌸 Awakening Bloom – gentle greens, soft lilacs, and muted pinks (coming soon in my next book!)

🗓️ Pattern Release Info
The Awakening pattern will be available 20 May 2025. It will be released in my shop and shared with newsletter subscribers first — with a special launch offer just for you.

💌 Why It Matters
This isn’t just a blanket pattern. It’s a gentle reminder to tend to yourself the way you’d tend to your yarn — patiently, lovingly, one loop at a time. Whether you're stitching through a season of change or simply craving something soothing for your hands and heart, I hope Awakening brings you comfort.

Thank you, as always, for being part of this beautiful, handmade journey with me. I can’t wait to share more soon.

With warmth,
Emily
